The Arizona Wildcats have been picked to win the Pac-12 in a poll of basketball media members.
Sean Miller’s Wildcats return seven key pieces from last year’s team that went 33-5 and advanced to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament before being ousted by Wisconsin.
Arizona received 31 of 32 first-place votes. UCLA, the defending Pac-12 Tournament champion, received the other and were picked to finish fourth.
The Wildcats open their season Nov. 14 when they host Mount St. Mary’s at McKale Center in Tucson.
