R.I.P. Vine, the app that was made for Bruce Arians

Tuesday marks the death of Vine, the six-second, looping video app that bridged the divide between highlight video clips and GIFs.
To bid the popular service its rightful farewell, we decided to look back at the Arizona sports landscape for our favorite Vines. The task is a bit difficult because, well, there are so many options. Whether it was capturing the aftermath of ASU’s Jael Mary against USC, Arizona safety Will Parks’ touching exchange with an official or Michael Phelps jumping out of the Curtain of Distraction, the app will be missed.
But upon this reminiscing, we realized one thing: Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians and Vine were made for one another. B.A. probably has no idea what a Vine is; but Vine definitely captured his personality in its brief run.
We begin with the most infamous Bruce Arians moment after a 2014 win against the Rams.
The following two Vines go together. It’s Cardinals center Lyle Sendlein picking up a thrown challenge flag and hiding it from the officials. Bruce claims it just fell out of his pocket (somehow landing in the middle of the field).
Here, Arians expertly recaps the Cardinals and Seahawks tying in overtime this past October.
After all, Arians has no fear of playing the Seahawks in Seattle.
Here is Arians golfing at the Waste Management Open’s 16th hole.
Sometimes he gets mad.
Other times, he has the jokes. He would like to drink out of GM Steve Keim’s executive of the year award.
R.I.P. Vine. We’ll miss you.
