Since taking over as the Arizona Cardinals’ general manager in January 2013, Steve Keim has proven to be rather deft at acquiring talent in free agency.
And while additions like Drew Stanton, Jared Veldheer and Mike Iupati earned most of the headlines, the signings of John Abraham, Eric Winston and Tommy Kelly proved to be just as impactful.
The NFL’s primary free agent signing period may have come and gone, but that does not mean the Cardinals are finished adding talent to the roster. In fact, given Keim’s history, it would be a shock if he did not add another notable player or two between now and the Week 1 opener against New Orleans.
