INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gerald Green led all scorers with 23 points Saturday and the Phoenix Suns remain one of the hottest teams in the NBA after their 106-83 road win over the Indiana Pacers.
Phoenix (9-5) got its fourth straight win – all on the road during a 6-game road trip – and the Pacers saw their 2-game win streak end. Indiana (5-8) had won four of its last five games entering Saturday’s contest.
Markieff Morris added 13 for Phoenix and Goran Dragic had 11. Isaiah Thomas pitched in with 16 points off the bench for the Suns.
Indiana was led by Rodney Stuckey, who scored 14 points off the Pacers’ bench. Solomon Hill scored 13 and Ian Mahinmi had 12 points and 10 rebounds after playing the final 2 1/2 quarters in place of Roy Hibbert, who left the game midway through the second quarter with a sprained left ankle.
