PHOENIX (AP) — Marcus Morris scored 24 of his career-high 34 points in the first half, grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds and led the Phoenix Suns past the Utah Jazz 100-93 on Friday night.
Morris was one point shy of his career best by halftime, making 5 of 6 3s off the bench in the first two quarters. Eric Bledsoe added 15 points for the Suns, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
Coming off a blowout loss at Portland Thursday night, Phoenix took the lead for good with a 17-2 run to end the first half.
Gordon Hayward scored 24 and Derrick Favors 20 for the Jazz, losers of five of six.
