Tip-in with less than second sends Pistons over Pacers 98-96

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Brandon Jennings scored a season high 37 points and Andre Drummond tipped in the last-second winning shot to lead the Detroit Pistons over the Indiana Pacers 98-96 on Friday night.

With 23.9 seconds left, Detroit called a timeout. Jennings took the inbounds pass and held for the last second shot. He drove to the bucket and missed the layup, but Drummond was there for the tip-in with 0.3 seconds to go.

Drummond finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

Roy Hibbert led Indiana with 14 points. David West and Damjan Rudez each had 13.

Jennings led a Pistons third-quarter comeback, scoring 19 of their 30 points during the period.

The Pacers have lost four of five while the Pistons have won 10 of 12.
