The MLB trade deadline is nine days away, and one question looms large — will the Arizona Diamondbacks be buyers or sellers?
CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman said that the Arizona Diamondbacks should have options if they choose to sell at the deadline.

Veteran infielder Aaron Hill heads their list of trade candidates. They’d also part with reliever Addison Reed, starter Jeremy Hellickson and Oliver Perez, who is still a useful lefty (though a Mets person mentioned he might be better off on one of the other 28 teams).
Hill, 33, is batting .220 with four home runs and 23 RBI for the D-backs this season. He has career splits of .268/.323/.424 with 149 home runs and 634 RBI across his 11-year career.
Reed, 26, has struggled in the majors this season, posting a 2-2 record with a 5.92 ERA in 25 appearances. He is currently at Triple-A Reno, where he is 1-1 with a 2.16 ERA in nine appearances.
Hellickson, 28, was acquired last offseason via a trade from the Tampa Bay Rays, and the 2011 American League Rookie of the Year has gone 6-6 with a 4.86 ERA in 18 starts this season.
Perez, 33, has been solid in two seasons as a lefty specialist for the D-backs. He is currently 1-1 with a 3.46 ERA in 43 appearances this season.
Entering play Wednesday, Arizona is 43-49 , 8.5 games out of first place in the National League West.
