Bucs-Cardinals injury report: Byron Murphy Jr. out with back issue

The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., defensive end Zach Allen as well as quarterback Colt McCoy for the Christmas evening game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Other key starters are more in limbo, including wide receiver Marquise Brown (groin), corner Antonio Hamilton (back) and offensive linemen Max Garcia (shoulder) and Kelvin Beachum (knee/ankle) who were questionable on Friday’s injury report. They were all limited in practice.

Safety Charles Washington was also limited and listed as questionable for Sunday

Depth at cornerback beyond Murphy and Hamilton is banged up with rookie Christian Matthew (shoulder) and Marco Wilson (neck) both limited in practice on Thursday but full participants on Friday.

Receiver Greg Dortch (knee), outside linebacker Markus Golden (ankle) and linebacker Ezekiel Turner (ankle) were also limited the previous day but full participants in the last practice of the week.

Regulars out of practice on the Tampa Bay side were nose tackle Vita Vea (calf), cornerback Jamel Dean (toe) and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (ankle).
