J.J. Watt volunteers at Las Vegas food bank prior to ‘The Match’

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt took advantage of being in the Las Vegas area on Wednesday ahead of his involvement in TNT’s “The Match.”

Watt volunteered at Three Square, a food bank in southern Nevada that distributed more than 41 million meals in 2019.

Watt participated as a part of Wheels Up’s day of service, helping pack up over 450 bags of food for the company’s partnership with Feeding America for a Meals Up campaign that will supply 10 million meals to the food insecure and those facing hunger during the COVID-19 crisis.

The defensive lineman’s day continued for TNT’s “The Match” when he hosted a pregame talk with the participants of the golf exhibition: Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

He was also a part of the commentary team during the play and was able to get a few good lines in.
