GCU basketball rebounds with dominant win over Chicago State

PHOENIX (AP) — Lok Wur scored 20 points as GCU men’s basketball took care of business against Chicago State 74-51 on Thursday night.
The Antelopes moved to 6-1 on their home court, and the Cougars are 0-8 on the road. GCU snapped a two-game skid, having lost to Georgia and Louisiana Tech away from home.

Wur shot 8-for-13 on Thursday, including 2-for-5 from beyond the arc for the Antelopes (7-4). He also blocked two shots and picked up two steals.
Tyon Grant-Foster scored 10 points and added seven rebounds after a tough couple games (14 points on the road trip). Caleb Shaw shot 3-of-4 from the field and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points.

The Cougars were led in scoring by Noble Crawford, who finished with 11 points and two steals. Jalen Forrest added nine points for Chicago State. Troy McCoy had eight points.
The loss was the Cougars’ 13th straight.
GCU takes on Saint Louis on Sunday at 2 p.m. MST from Global Credit Union Arena.
