So much for protecting Kyler Murray’s blindside.
The Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback and left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. sat courtside at Monday’s game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers, perhaps even closer to the action than they anticipated.
Lakers star Anthony Davis sharply delivered a pass to LeBron James, who had already began to cut. With no one there to secure the basketball, the ball was fired right at Murray, who had to put a hand up to fend it off.

No need for the blue tent, as Murray was quick to laugh it off. Johnson, however, did not escape some teasing from fans online expecting the left tackle to step in front of danger off the field as he does on it.
Disappointed in paris Johnson jr for not protecting him

Murray is as athletic as quarterbacks come and a first-round pick in both football and baseball, so perhaps with a better pass he could have made something happen on a catch-and-shoot attempt.
