Yankees fans rip baseball out of Dodgers OF Mookie Betts’ glove at World Series

A couple of New York Yankees fans will go down in infamy for ripping a foul ball out of Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts’ glove during Game 4 of the World Series.
Betts made a leaping catch at the wall in foul ground in the first inning at Yankee Stadium, but a fan caught his glove and would not let go. Even as Betts fought to free his mitt, another fan grabbed his free hand while the other successfully ripped the ball away.

The umpire quickly called Yankees batter Gleyber Torres out while security ran over, and the fans had the gall to argue … something in the most aggressively New York-looking way, hand gestures and all.

Safe to say they are not still sitting there. Also safe to say the price of World Series tickets was not worth the effort to interfere with the game. Not a great look.
