Arizona Cardinals’ J.J. Watt, Zach Ertz at odds over ‘Donutgate’

Arizona Cardinals star J.J. Watt had some issues with tight end Zach Ertz on Friday in the locker room.
Watt told a story about how Ertz said he was going to bring in donuts and asked the big man what he wanted.
“I am a big fan of the pink frosted, I think it’s strawberry, and maple glazed,” Watt told the camera. “He goes, ‘Cool, I will pick them up in the morning.'”
“He shows up with a boxful of donuts, no strawberry glazed, no maple glazed. I am extremely grateful for the free donuts, but do I have any ground to stand on to be upset?”
In regards to donutgate…
JJs first request, “pink/strawberry”, wasn’t even on the online ordering menu…

Watt raises a fair question. Someone says they’re going to get you food, you are most likely expecting that food. Yes food is food but maybe Watt had built up his hopes a little too high.
Ertz had a quick and easy response when the camera panned over to him.
