The last time the Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks played, Devin Booker was ejected after shoving Enes Kanter.
Kanter, as he does quite often, took to Twitter with his response after a Suns loss.
Hold that “L” kid.

As one can imagine, Booker did not forget about that tweet.
So, after Booker tied a season-high with 38 points in a 128-110 win against the Knicks on Monday, he informed Kanter of the Suns’ gameplan in that victory.

The big man in his eighth season has a reputation as one of the league’s worst defenders, most notably when it comes to foot speed and guarding ball screens.
The initial tweet by Kanter led to a back-and-forth between him and former Suns forward Jared Dudley.
Your as corny as you look Boi! Just remember this NBA fraternity knows exactly who you are! One of the worst pick n roll defender in the NBA! Now hold that L kid! https://t.co/fcD6CwaFK4

In the losing effort on Monday, Kanter had 13 points and 10 rebounds. His counterpart Deandre Ayton, on the other hand, had 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Others on Twitter got in on the fun.

Kanter has not filed a response yet, but knowing him, that’s coming.
If you want to circle the date like Kanter surely will, the Suns’ final matchup against the Knicks this season is on March 6.
