Children will be able to attend an Arizona Diamondbacks game for no cost later this month as the team hosts kids free weekend.
During the games that take place July 22-24 against the Washington Nationals, fans who purchase at least one adult ticket will receive up to two free kids tickets for those aged 15 and younger.
Tickets can be purchased online, at the Chase Field Box Office, or by calling 602-514-8400.
Sections available for the promotion are the bleachers, bullpen reserve, baseline reserve, baseline box, club reserve, infield reserve, baseline view and outfield reserve.
It will be a busy weekend as the team is also hosting Star Wars Night and celebrating Baxter’s birthday.
The first 10,000 fans on July 23 will receive a Mandalorian-themed “This Is The Way” t-shirt that features silhouettes of the iconic bounty hunter and Grogu — also known as “Baby Yoda” — with a backdrop of Phoenix and Chase Field in a Tatooine-esque setting.
Costumed characters from the franchise will make an appearance, as well as music and themed activities throughout the game.
The team’s mascot will then celebrate his birthday on July 24, with the first 5,000 kids in attendance getting a Baxter the Bobcat STEM Storybook.
Kids are also invited to run the bases after the game on July 24.
All the games can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
