The Arizona Diamondbacks will celebrate Jackie Robinson Day on their first homestand since MLB celebrated league-wide on April 15.

The D-backs host the New York Mets on Friday at 6:40 p.m., Saturday at 5:10 p.m. and Sunday at 1:10 p.m.

Arizona will present a variety of donations and cap it off with events including a fireworks show after the final out of each game.

Among the donations, the D-backs will be gifting $100,000 to the Pilgrim Rest Foundation, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The money will contribute to the ASU Prep Academy school as part of the Pilgrim Rest’s Dreamscape Environment.

Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church choir will perform a song during the pregame festivities.

BASE Arizona, Jackie Robinson Career Showcase and the D-backs’ branch of the Boys & Girls Club of the Valley will also receive donations from the team.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum’s “They Were All-Stars” traveling exhibit will be in town for fans to tour during the game.

Rally towels will be available for the first 5,000 fans in attendance and special packages can be purchased online for a Jackie Robinson-themed cap.

On Saturday, D-backs outfielder David Peralta will lead a four-hour youth baseball camp for kids from low-income communities before the game.
