Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun showed off his athleticism with a full extension dive to rob the Chicago Cubs of a hit on Sunday.
In the top of the second inning with a runner on first base, Cubs outfielder Jake Marisnick hit a line drive to right field and it appeared that the ball was going to drop for a hit.
But Calhoun had other ideas and took flight to make the driving catch and get the out.

Arizona would get out of the inning without surrendering any runs to Chicago thanks, in part, to Calhoun’s great catch in right.
Cubs infielder Nico Hoerner flied out to centerfield to end the second inning.
Later on in the bottom of the fifth inning, Calhoun was able to extend Arizona’s lead with an RBI single to right field and drove in Josh Rojas to make it 2-0 D-backs.
