Justin Upton left his swing in St. Louis

Justin Upton was an All-Star, and deservedly so.
Hitting .293 at the break with 15 home runs and 46 RBI, the D-backs right fielder was looking every bit the part of franchise player.
Then the All-Star break ended, and since then Upton has looked more Eric Byrnes than, well, someone people actually like.
The 23-year-old went 0 for the Dodgers series, seeing his average drop to .284 while striking out five times.
It would be a little unfair to just look at Upton, though, as it’s not like the D-backs offense lit up the Dodgers over the three game set.
Still, the team will need their All-Star to return to form if they are to push for the NL West crown, a goal that is still very much within reach.
