Suns’ Bradley Beal available for Suns’ NBA Cup game against Spurs

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is listed as available to play Tuesday against the visiting San Antonio Spurs after missing the last game with a left calf strain.
Beal went 8 of 14 for 17 points in a 127-117 loss to the Brooklyn Nets last Wednesday but appeared to injure his ankle in the fourth quarter. It was just his second game back in the lineup after being sidelined for five games with a calf injury.
Beal was then listed as questionable for “left calf injury management” before he was ruled out Saturday in a win over the Golden State Warriors.
Beal has started all 11 of his appearances this season while averaging 33.4 minutes and 18.2 points.
Against the Spurs on Tuesday, Phoenix will be without starting center Jusuf Nurkic (thigh contusion) and two-way guard Collin Gillespie (ankle fracture). Nurkic will be reevaluated in a week, the team announced on Monday.
The Spurs will not have backup point guard Tre Jones (shoulder sprain), the younger brother of Suns starting guard Tyus Jones. Tre Jones was injured Sunday in a win against the Sacramento Kings.
Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan is listed as probable (left thumb proximal phalanx surgery). He hasn’t played since Nov. 4.
