Suns’ Bradley Beal ruled out after left hip injury vs. Grizzlies

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal was ruled out of Tuesday’s New Year’s Eve matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies due to a left hip contusion.
Beal had a hard fall midway through the first quarter and grabbed at his left hip. He continued to play the rest of the period with a limp before checking out.
The injury continues a streak of the Suns’ three best players showing an inability to remain healthy. Tuesday was Devin Booker’s return from a left groin strain.
Phoenix has now played a game with Beal, Booker and Kevin Durant in the lineup and had all three remain healthy through its conclusion in only one of the last 23 contests. That run of games will presumably now get longer with Beal out.
Beal has had a laundry list of injuries already pile up for him less than halfway through the season, including issues with his ankle, knee, calf and now hip.
