Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker hadn’t played on the home floor at Footprint Center since Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs on April 19.

He made up for lost time, putting on a show for the home fans in the first quarter of a 121-114 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals with 13 points while even picking up a technical foul.

Booker picked up the technical foul after his lone rejection in the quarter, swatting a shot back from Dallas Maverick’s guard Jalen Brunson and following it up with some choice language.

The tech didn’t slow down Booker as he picked up seven of the Suns next 11 points.

The All-Star went 4-for-8 from the floor with one 3 pointer and drilled all four of his free throws.

He also added six rebounds, four assists and the block in the frame.

Booker played just seven minutes in the second quarter picking up an emphatic dunk and finished the half with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

He nearly finished the night with a 23-point triple-double, but came up just short with nine rebounds and eight assits.

The Suns host the Mavericks in Game 2 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
