Phoenix Suns fans pack the house in Game 5 sellout

It was a full house at Phoenix Suns Arena for Game 5 on Tuesday night vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Suns lifted their seating restrictions to full capacity on Tuesday, for the first time in the 2020-21 season.
A sellout crowd of 16,163 fans were in attendance to watch the Suns defeat the Lakers 115-85 and take a 3-2 series lead.
The energy in the building was through the roof before the game even started.

Fans were chanting “Beat LA” pregame and throughout the game.

Arizona Cardinals teammates Kyler Murray and J.J. Watt were also in attendance to cheer on Phoenix.

Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi, who is nursing a fractured sternum, was in the crowd at Phoenix Suns Arena as well to root on the Suns.

The Suns will look to close out the first round matchup against the Lakers in Game 6 on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
