The Phoenix Suns ruled guard Devin Booker out for the remainder of Thursday’s game against the Indiana Pacers after he exited in the third period with left groin tightness, the team said.
Booker left the matchup with 5:18 remaining in the third period and jogged to the tunnel during a timeout.
Booker played 25 minutes and provided the Suns 17 points on 5-for-10 shooting, six assists and two rebounds before coming out of the game.
The Suns’ Big 3 returned to full strength on Thursday after Bradley Beal missed the last two games with knee inflammation and Kevin Durant sat out the previous three with an ankle sprain.
Booker had been the constant, having not missed a game this season. Entering Thursday, Booker averaged 25.4 points, 6.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 25 games played.
He missed time with a groin issue a couple years ago, suffering a left groin strain on Christmas Day back in 2022-23 that kept him out for all of January.
The Suns struggled in the third quarter after trailing 60-59 at halftime, as the Pacers built a 97-83 advantage entering the fourth period.
