Dec 1, 2024, 12:14 PM
The Arizona State Sun Devils moved up to No. 12 in The Associated Press’ Top 25 Poll released Sunday.
Last week, the Sun Devils came in at No. 14 following their victory over then-No. 14 BYU.
The slight bump comes after ASU’s dominate Territorial Cup win over the Arizona Wildcats that secured a spot in the Big 12 Championship.
Running back Cam Skattebo was once again a key figurehead in the rout, ripping off 177 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Wide receiver Jordyn Tyson added eight catches for 143 yards and a score.
Now, the Sun Devils await a title game against the Iowa State Cyclones, which came in at No. 16.
Iowa State is coming off a 29-21 win over the Kansas State Wildcats to punch its ticket for the Big 12 Championship.
The title game between the two programs is set for Dec. 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Sun Devils are 2.5-point favorites over the Cyclones.
