Things got heated as players exchanged words before Saturday’s game between No. 21 ASU and No. 14 BYU even started.
Players from both teams had to be separated during pregame warmups as both teams are vying to make the Big 12 Championship Game.

This is the first time the two schools have played since 2021, when BYU won 27-17 in Provo, Utah. It is the 29th meeting all-time between the schools but just the second meeting of this millennium. The Sun Devils own the matchup’s all-time head-to-head advantage, 20-8.
