Arizona State football has clinched a spot in the Big 12 Championship game alongside Iowa State following TCU’s win against Cincinnati on Saturday.
Arizona State did its part earlier on Saturday with a 49-7 win over the Arizona Wildcats in the Territorial Cup. Running back Cam Skattebo led the way for the Sun Devils offense, rushing for 177 yards and scoring three touchdowns while quarterback Sam Leavitt threw for over 291 yards and three touchdowns.

This marks the first time since 2013 that ASU will be playing in a conference championship game. The Sun Devils faced Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship game in a 38-14 loss in Tempe.
With the win on Saturday, ASU clinched its first Territorial Cup win since 2021 as well as its first 10-win season since 2014.
Following Iowa State’s win versus Kansas State and BYU’s win over Houston, ASU and Iowa State will meet in the championship game.
The BYU victory officially eliminated Colorado, who was dependent on a Houston win to stay alive.
