It appears David Johnson is back and ready to go for the Arizona Cardinals.
With the Cardinals’ offseason program beginning Tuesday, Johnson was right in the mix.

On March 27, Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks told reporters that Johnson was “in the process of getting cleared” and that he would be ready to go by OTAs.
After having a ton of optimism entering the 2017 season, Johnson went down in the September season opener with a broken wrist that required surgery. He was placed on IR with some hope that he would be back in time to finish the season. That never happened as he did not progress enough after the surgery.
In his limited showing, the running back ran the rock 11 times for 23 yards. He also caught six balls for 67 yards.
For his career, Johnson has posted 1,843 rushing yards on 429 attempts to go along with 24 touchdowns. He is a force to be reckoned with through the air too, as he has 122 receptions for 1,403 yards and eight scores.
In March, Johnson was seen in the weight room putting in work.

“He’s a freak, let me put it to you that way, I will never ever take credit for anything David Johnson — I never take credit from anything any of my guys do — David is very gifted, but along with being very gifted he has a great wife and great family at home which drives him,” Cardinals strength and conditioning coach Buddy Morris said Tuesday.
“I have to protect David from David to be honest with you because he always wants to load the bar with more and more weight.”
Johnson also took the field Tuesday with teammates, showing his progression outside of the weight room.
