After the catch heard around the world, it’s been quite a week for DeAndre Hopkins.
The wide receiver took home NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors Wednesday and on Thursday he was announced as the newest member of the elite Madden NFL 21 99 club.
Should've been there all along, but @DeAndreHopkins is the newest member of the #Madden21 99 Club.

Hopkins joins Aaron Donald, Christian McCaffrey, Michael Thomas, Patrick Mahomes, Stephon Gilmore and Russell Wilson as the few NFL players with the maximum overall rating in the video game.
Through 10 weeks, Hopkins has reeled in 67 receptions for 861 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 12.9 yards per catch. Sunday’s win over the Bills was his 35th career 100-yard game and fifth in nine games with Arizona.
Hopkins was one of four players in last year’s edition of Madden to have a 99 rating as well.
