Linebacker Jeremy Cash was carted off the field with a knee injury in the third quarter of the Arizona Cardinals game.
Replay showed Cash’s leg twisting awkwardly against the ground as he attempted to make a tackle.
He did not return to the game.
Prior to getting injured, Cash recovered a fumble and ran it in for a touchdown to give the Cardinals a 14-3 lead.
Head coach Steve Wilks did not have any updates after the game.
Cash, entering his third year out of Duke, played nine games total for the Carolina Panthers over his first two seasons.
In the first preseason game with the Cardinals, he had two tackles, in addition to the fumble recovery and touchdown.
