The Arizona Cardinals activated cornerback Antonio Hamilton and placed inside linebacker Nick Vigil on injured reserved among a series of moves made Saturday.

Arizona also signed wide receiver Andre Baccellia to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated kicker Matt Ammendola and safety Chris Banjo from the practice squad.

Hamilton was set up for a prominent role on the Cardinals’ defense ahead of the season, but he suffered second-degree burns in a cooking accident which landed him on reserve.

He joins the position group ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, a team with dangerous weapons such as receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Hamilton played 17 games for Arizona last year and tweeted he had the camp of his life ahead of the regular season.

Vigil will be unavailable for at least the next four games.

He missed practice this week with a hamstring injury after exiting Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers in the second half.

Vigil has played on 35% of Arizona’s defensive snaps this year after coming over as a free agent during the offseason.

Baccellia joins the 53-man roster for the second time this season. He started the year on the active roster, was released in Week 3, added to the practice squad and got elevated for the previous two matchups.

The Cardinals’ receiver room has been in flux due to injuries and the suspension of DeAndre Hopkins throughout the opening four weeks.

Antoine Wesley was designated to return from reserve on Monday, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury said this week the receiver suffered a setback.

Rondale Moore is questionable for Sunday’s game with a hamstring issue, and Arizona released Andy Isabella when Wesley returned to practice.

Ammendola will fill in for Matt Prater, who won’t suit up this week with a hip injury. He kicked for the Kansas City Chiefs in Weeks 2 and 3 this year and went 3-for-4 on field goals.

Banjo signed with the Cardinals practice squad last week after spending the last three seasons in Arizona. He was elevated against Carolina, as well.
