Mcbride, angry runs...

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride plowed through a tackle for one of the three angriest runs of Week 10, according to Kyle Brandt.

On the latest edition of Angry Runs on Good Morning Football — a high-octane celebration of the toughest runners each week — McBride was highlighted for shedding New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner for a first down in Sunday’s 31-6 win.

On third-and-7 in the second quarter, quarterback Kyler Murray hit McBride over the middle and Gardner quickly wrapped him up. Not only did McBride not go down, he spun Gardner hard to the turf to break free for the first down. Better yet, he hurdled a second defender to extend the play.

“You ever get more mad than when someone gives you sauce you don’t want?” Brandt exclaimed. “I ordered no sauce, the burger comes and it’s got sauce, you got to scrape it off. Now you’ve completely ruined it. Pisses me off, pisses Trey McBride off.”

The play occurred right along the Cardinals’ sideline, and Brandt gave full props to assistant offensive line coach Chris Cook for getting hyped with McBride after the play.

“He’s a runaway McBride, he a McBride-zilla!”

The Cardinals used that angry energy to march right down the field and score a touchdown for breathing room that never tightened.

Speaking of breathing, Brandt needed the oxygen mask before his segment was over.

Unfortunately for McBride, the winner for Week 10 was Buffalo Bills running back James Cook for breaking multiple tackles on a run against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Cardinals tight end gets the bye week to stew and reenergize for another run at the famed scepter — one running back James Conner is plenty familiar with — against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.
