GLENDALE — Big-man touchdown alert!
Arizona Cardinals right tackle Jonah Williams — not quarterback Kyler Murray, running back James Conner or tight end Trey McBride (the drought continues) — is clearly feeling fine after accounting for his team’s first touchdown of the afternoon against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
And what a way he did.
After using some trickery on their way to the Patriots eight-yard line, Arizona turned to slot man Greg Dortch on second-and-three.
Dortch just about scored himself but instead was met by a group of Patriots defenders who jarred the ball out of the wideout’s hands.
But just as it looked like the ball was heading out of the end zone or into the hands of the Patriots, big No. 73 came in like a flash for the scoop and score.

As they say, it’s better to be lucky than good!
Not only was that Williams’ first NFL touchdown of his career, it’s also the first touchdown the lineman has scored since he was a sixth grader.
Talk about a scoring drought.
