It is no surprise that every team in the NFL wants to start fast, and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been recognized as one of the best in the NFL by Pro Football Focus through four games.
Murray was named to PFF’s All-Pro Team through the first quarter of the year as the second team quarterback behind Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady.
In total, Murray has completed 76.1% of his passes for 1,273 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 109 yards and three rushing touchdowns on the ground. These performances have led to wins over the Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams.
Following the Cardinals’ 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, sportsbooks around the country have taken notice of Murray’s ability.
According to FanDuel, Murray has the best odds at +500 to win MVP of the league. Josh Allen (+600), Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes (+800) all sit behind the Arizona signal-caller.
Murray’s quick starts and third-year development continue to be a story catching many eyes in the NFL.
