Kyler Murray isn’t the only quarterback prospect the Arizona Cardinals have hosted as one of their 30 allotted visits. Duke quarterback Daniel Jones also met with the Cardinals, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro.

Jones, a projected first- or second-round pick, departed Duke after his junior season.

The Cardinals hold the first overall pick and the 33rd overall selection in the draft.

Jones completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,674 yards, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2018. The quarterback missed two games with a broken clavicle.

At 6-foot-5 and 221 pounds, Jones is mobile for his size. He rushed for more than 300 yards in each of his three college seasons, posting 518 rushing yards as a sophomore.

Over his Duke career, he posted 52 touchdown passes, 29 interceptions and 17 rushing touchdowns in 36 games.

ESPN ranked Jones sixth among quarterbacks in this draft class, behind Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins, Oklahoma’s Murray, Missouri’s Drew Lock, N.C. State’s Ryan Finley and Auburn’s Jarrett Stidham.

Jones is ranked 65th among all prospects in the draft by ESPN.

Jones has set up visits this week with the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Arizona currently has three quarterbacks on the roster: last year’s No. 10 overall pick Josh Rosen, fifth-year pro Brett Hundley and second-year undrafted pro Charles Kanoff.
