The Arizona Cardinals will reportedly be without one of their dynamic offensive weapons for multiple more games.
Wide receiver Rondale Moore could miss “a few more weeks,” while the Cardinals are hoping to get him back within the month, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported.
Moore missed Arizona’s season opener last week due to a hamstring issue and was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday’s injury report.
The second-year target out of Purdue played in 14 of 17 regular season games as a rookie, a year in which he caught 54 passes for 435 yards. He missed the final three games of the 2021 regular season with an ankle injury.
Fowler reported that Moore should avert the injured reserve, but the Cardinals want to be cautious with him since it is a soft tissue injury.
Moore wasn’t listed on the injury report after Arizona’s first practice of Week 1, but the following day he showed up as limited and has not practiced since.
The Cardinals are already without DeAndre Hopkins until Week 7 due to suspension, while Andy Isabella is out for Sunday with a back issue.
Arizona will rely on Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch.
The Cardinals and Raiders kick off at 1:25 p.m. Tune in on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
