The Arizona Coyotes have agreed to a two-year contract with right wing Tyler Pitlick, his agent, Ben Hankinson, confirmed Friday.

Pitlick, 28, had eight goals and 12 assists for the Philadelphia Flyers in 63 games last season. In the postseason for the Flyers, Pitlick registered two goals and one assist over 16 games.

The right wing was drafted in the second round by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Draft and spent three seasons there before two years with the Dallas Stars and one in Philadelphia.

The Coyotes are undergoing their first offseason with a new front office after they cut ties with former general manager John Chayka in late July. Former St. Louis Blues assistant general manager Bill Armstrong was hired in mid-September.

Last season, Arizona made the playoffs via an expanded format for the shortened season, with a record of 33-29-8. After taking out the Nashville Predators in five-game series to advance to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, they were beaten handily by the Colorado Avalanche in five games.
