Another year, another plethora of accolades for Phoenix Rising FC.

Three PRFC players were named to the 2021 USL Championship All-League First and Second teams on Tuesday.

Forward Santi Moar was also revealed as a finalist for the Most Valuable Player award, which will be announced on Dec. 1. The two other finalists are Colorado Springs forward Hadji Barry and Tampa Bay forward Sebastian Guenzatti.

Midfielder Aodhan Quinn joined Moar on the All-League First Team, while center back James Musa landed on the All-League Second Team.

“Honored to have been selected to the USL Championship First Team,” Quinn tweeted. “Shoutout to everyone at the club — teammates, coaches, support staff, front office and ownership — because it’s only possible with their help and support.”

Moar was Phoenix’s leading scorer this season with 16 goals on the campaign, with four of those coming outside of the box (tied for second-most in USLC).

The Spaniard also notched four assists, completed 49 dribbles and made 63 key passes, the latter of which ranked tied for fourth in the league.

PRFC fans won’t have to fret replacing their No. 7, as Moar signed a new two-year contract through the 2023 campaign on Nov. 17.

Quinn picked up the second All-League First Team honor of his career after coming over from Orange County SC in the offseason.

The No. 8 midfielder had six goals and 11 assists in his first campaign in a Phoenix Rising kit. Quinn also finished second in the league with 84 key passes and second on the team with a goals added mark of +7.89.

After a season with MLS’ Minnesota United FC, James Musa returned to Phoenix as a center back after previously playing as more of a No. 6 midfielder from 2018-19.

The Kiwi won 148 duels at a success rate of 68.8% in addition to making 56 interceptions. Musa also had an 83.7% passing accuracy rate on 1,294 completed passes to earn a +5.80 goals added mark.
