Matsuyama, Westwood, Harrington highlight early Phoenix Open commits

The 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open, slated for the weekend of January 30, landed another trio of top golfers according to an announcement made Monday. The field now includes world No. 23 Hideki Matsuyama of Japan, world No. 24 Lee Westwood of England and former British Open and PGA champion Padraig Harrington.

Brandt Snedeker (No. 11), Bubba Watson (No. 28), Nick Watney (No. 30), Hunter Mahan (No. 31) and Rickie Fowler (No. 40) previously committed to play in the tournament, which will be held at TPC Scottsdale.

PGA Tour members have until January 24 to make a commitment to the tournament known as “The Greatest and Greenest Show on Grass.”
