The Pulse: Arizona Cardinals earn a ‘B’ in 2014

The Arizona Cardinals’ season ended rather unceremoniously Saturday in a 27-16 playoff loss to the Carolina Panthers.
However, just because the team did not reach and win the Super Bowl does not mean it will go down in history as a failure.
The Cardinals were forced to battle an incredible rash of injuries, and were without their top two quarterbacks for the playoffs. Still, they won 11 games and were in contention for the top seed in the NFC until the end, and there’s a belief that if not for their bad luck, they’d probably still be playing.
Perhaps that’s why, in our latest Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, our readers gave the team a solid grade for their efforts.
More than 1,300 people responded to our poll, which can be found in the right-hand column of our home page, and the prevailing thought was the team deserves a ‘B’ for its efforts.
The next-highest total was even better, with ‘A’ finishing second.
