Williams, 27, signed a contract with the Oakland Raiders Wednesday morning that will average around $6 million per season and will pay out around $15 million guaranteed according to AZCentral Sports’ Kent Somers.
The former first-round pick out of Tennessee had a solid 2014 campaign, registering 31 total tackles and one quarterback sack. In his career, Williams has 156 tackles, two sacks, eight passes defensed and one interception.
He was a key part of the Arizona defensive front, and Pro Football Focus had him rated as the 14th-best defensive tackle in the league last season.
Williams is the first of Arizona’s free agents to sign elsewhere this offseason.
