Fans of the Arizona Cardinals have spoken. Of all the departures this offseason, Cards’ fans overwhelmingly agree that the loss of cornerback Antonio Cromartie to the New York Jets will sting the most heading in to next season.
Cromartie signed a four-year, $32 million deal Thursday to return to New York where he will be reunited with fellow corner Darrelle Revis.
Of the 1,246 votes cast in our Sanderson Ford Poll Question of the Day, 61 percent said that Cromartie’s departure will be the most problematic void for the Cards to fill. Darnell Dockett was the next highest vote-getter receiving 26 percent of the submissions, followed by Lyle Sendlein (8 percent) and “Other” (4 percent).
Wide receiver/return specialist Ted Ginn, Jr. only received 1 percent of the vote.
