There is nothing in golf more exciting than a hole-in-one. There may be no more exciting hole in golf than No. 16 at TPC Scottsdale.
So it’s fitting that a hole-in-one on 16 during the Phoenix Open would be right up there with some of golf’s funnest moments.
Francesco Molinari had a little fun on Saturday.
Using his pitching wedge from 133 yards out, Molinari aced the 16th hole during round three of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Cups rained down from the stands in celebration after Molinari’s ball bounced then slowly rolled into the cup.
It was the 9th ace in Phoenix Open history.
