Dak Prescott, Twitter react to Mississippi State’s upset of UConn

When UConn women’s basketball’s 111-game winning streak came to an end on Friday, social media did what it does best: it brought out the hilarious and the incredible.

Most notably, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott — who himself went to Mississippi State — was seen with a priceless reaction on television in the video above.

One user recalled an infamous mistake made by Steve Harvey, when he crowned the incorrect winner of the Miss Universe pageant:

Of course, outlandish reactions are understandable: UConn was the favorite to win.

ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell noted the effect that the upset had on prices to the title game.

Mississippi State advances to play South Carolina in the championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m.
