Derrick Jones Jr. remains a work-in-progress to become the 3-and-D wing that Suns coach Earl Watson envisions.
While that process pushes on, the rookie out of UNLV continues to fascinate with his dunking abilities. The name of the game for Jones on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors was offensive rebounding.
Jones Jr. was forgotten about while standing in the corner and sliced the down the baseline as Devin Booker went up for a shot. He put his head at the rim before flushing a putback off the miss.

Later on, Jones came from atop the arc as the Warriors scrambled to recover from an Alan Williams offensive board.
And once again, the man known as Airplane Mode skied for a putback dunk off Williams’ putback miss.
