Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne didn’t look like himself in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Rinne allowed eight goals on only 36 shots in the two contests in Pittsburgh. Not surprisingly, the Penguins won both games.

But the Finnish netminder is back to his old ways since the series shifted to Nashville for the next two contests. Rinne has allowed only two goals on 52 shots as the Predators have stormed back to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

One of the Rinne’s 23 saves in Game 4 stood out. Rinne initially stopped Pittsburgh superstar Sidney Crosby on a breakaway. Then, after the puck squirted loose on a rebound, he lunged headlong to his right to prevent a goal. It was spectacular, but not as spectacular as the play-by-play call from his native Finland.

Here’s a couple other angles of Rinne’s acrobatic heroics.
