D-backs break skid, get over ‘the wall’ on Game of Thrones Night

The Arizona Diamondbacks had lost three straight and six out of their last eight, so you might’ve said things were looking glum.
You probably could even say that winter was coming.
Actually it reached 118 degrees in Phoenix Friday, so that’s not the case literally. But the D-backs held Game of Thrones Night against the Cincinnati Reds and ended their skid.
Fans got a special edition Taijuan Walker bobblehead before the game. Walker is dressed as a White Walker, an ice creature featured on the popular HBO television series.
Winter is coming … in July.

Don’t let the phenomenon fool you though, many D-backs players do enjoy some other binge-watching worthy shows out there besides Game of Thrones.
