NL Wild Card tracker: D-backs await Wild Card opponent
In case you haven’t heard, the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the 2017 National League Wild Card game on Oct. 4.
Their playoff clinch on Sept. 24 was followed soon after by a walk-off win over the Marlins, clinching home field advantage in the one-game playoff round. They just need to find out who they’ll play.
The Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals are still vying for that second Wild Card spot; One of those three teams will visit Chase Field and play the D-backs for the chance to advance to the National League Divison Series.
