Sunday afternoons are good days to take your dog to the park, and the Arizona Diamondbacks are offering a unique experience for owners to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark.

This Sunday, the D-backs host Bark at the Park, an opportunity for fans and their dogs to catch a game at Chase Field as the team hosts the San Diego Padres at 1:10 p.m. MST.

D-backs fans won’t have to worry about keeping their dog entertained because pet-friendly activities will be readily available. These include the new Lucy Pet Wave Machine that gives dogs a chance to jump on a surfboard and ride a wave, a pre-game Puppy Parade on the warning track, an activity center that has free samples and other interactive activities.

Bark at the Park ticket packages start at $20 per person/$20 per dog for bleacher seats and $28 per person/$28 per dog for baseline reserve seats.

All tickets can be purchased at dbacks.com/barkatthepark.

The D-backs are also offering a ‘doggy suite’ located at the PetSmart Patio. The suites start at $160, which includes access to PetSmart Park, an indoor and outdoor dog park that is air-conditioned. The “doggy suite” offers a table with All-You-Can-Eat hot dogs, soda, water, popcorn, peanuts, chips and all-your-pup-can-eat ice cream.

The D-backs are not only offering the chance to bring your dog to the park but also an opportunity to take home a new four-legged friend with adoptable dogs on site from local pet shelters.

For owners who want to attend, their dogs must be at least six months old. Owners must include a copy of current vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian and a dog license is required for you to bring your dog to the game.
