Former ASU stars Plummer, Poole to make Heisman tour appearance

Two former Arizona State football legends will make a tour stop in Tempe this weekend.
Former ASU quarterback Jake Plummer and wide receiver Keith Poole will join the “Nissan Heisman House Tour” as it makes a stop in Tempe on Saturday before the Sun Devils play Oregon.
The event begins at 1 p.m. running until 6:30 p.m. located at the intersection of East Sixth Street and South Packard Drive, just east of Wells Fargo Arena. The Heisman Trophy, the most revered individual award in college football, will be on full display for those who want to take a photo.
The event is free for fans with Poole making an appearance from 3 to 4:30 p.m. He will partake in a Chalk Talk session with ESPN anchor Neil Everett and following with an autograph session with fans.
Poole caught 140 receptions at ASU, finishing eighth in school history, and recorded 2,691 receiving yards, which ranks fifth.
Plummer will make his appearance from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and will also participate in a Chalk Talk with Everett and an autograph session with fans.
The quarterback led the 1996 ASU team to an undefeated regular season and the Pac-10 Championship.
