Snapshot: Redskins sneak by Cardinals

Oops. While more choice words probably slipped out, Chanci Stuckey's late fumble was the play that broke the Cardinals' back. With under two minutes in the game, a turnover can't happen. But Stuckey fumbled, the Redskins recovered and the Cardinals lost. Next time, Peterson. Calais Campbell may have blocked an earlier field goal, but another kicked in the fourth quarter put the Redskins ahead by one with under two minutes to play. The Cardinals had penetration, but were no where close to blocking their second of the game. Larry Fitzgerald and Kevin Kolb are forming one heck of a partnership. On one play, Kolb took a massive hit, losing his helmet in the process and still managed to his Fitz for a 73-yard touchdown pass. Fitz ended the day with seven catches for 133 yards and the one touchdown. Beanie Wells has finally become the running back the Cardinals need. He may make a few errors here or there, but his 14 carries for 93 yards allowed the Cards to have a semblance of a running game. Like it or not, the Redskins were simply better than the Cardinals on Sunday. They had 26 first downs to the Cards' 16, 455 yards to the Cards' 324 and ended up being one point better with a 22-21 win at home.
